Aamir Khan reportedly tests positive for COVID-19

Aamir Khan has reportedly tested positive for COVID-19, Indian media outlets have reported.

According to details, the Bollywood star is self-isolating at home after testing positive.

“Aamir has tested positive for the virus and has home-quarantined himself. He has also informed his staff to take the test, to take all the necessary precautions and follow all the guidelines to the T. He will resume shooting for Laal Singh Chaddha after he completely recovers,” said the report.

COVID-19 cases are on the rise in India as Pakistan also deals with its third wave. Besides Khan, several other A-listers have also tested positive for the virus including Ranbir Kapoor, Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Manoj Bajpayee, Siddhant Chaturvedi, Tara Sutaria and Kartik Aaryan.

Meanwhile, Khan is currently working on his upcoming film Laal Singh Chaddha, which is a Hindi adaptation of Tom Hanks’ 1994 Hollywood classic Forrest Gump. The film also features Kareena Kapoor Khan in the lead and is expected to release by the end of this year.
