After ruling the morning show scene with her show Good Morning Pakistan, Nida Yasir is all set to make her debut as a film producer.
The actor-turned-host in a recently social media post announced that she is all set to produce her first film Chakkar.
“Time to earn respect as a film producer,” wrote Nida while sharing a few pictures of her and husband Yasir Nawaz. “Please pray.”
Similarly, Yasir also shared a picture of himself from the upcoming film. According to Nida, he will be directing the film as well as acting in it.
Meanwhile, Armeena Khan commented “Niceee” on Nida’s post to which the producer replied: “Thanks a lot. Love to work with you.”
“InshAllah something cooking,” added Yasir, hinting that Armeena is possibly also part of the project.
It is pertinent to mention here that this is not the first time Nida is producing a film. She has previously also been associated as a producer with Wrong No. and Mehrunisa V Lub U, but this is the first time she will actively working as a producer on sets.
As per details, Chakkar features Ahsan Khan, Neelam Muneer and Javed Shaikh, along with Nawaz. Nida has shared that the film is a murder-mystery thriller with situational comedy.
It is slated to release sometime in 2021.
