As cases of COVID-19 continue to rise, Neelam Muneer has revealed that she has tested positive for the virus.

“I would like to give you all an update of some of the things I have been going through on my end, since the past couple of days,” wrote the actor on Instagram. “I have tested positive for COVID-19, however, my family members are all safe and healthy, Alhamdulillah.”
“This has been one of the most challenging and difficult things that personally me and my family have ever had to endure. I have quarantined myself and I’m feeling much better now,” shared Neelam.
She then requested her fans to pray for her well-being and speedy recovery and urged everyone to observe SOPs.
“Protect your loved ones by wearing masks in public places, avoid large gatherings, boost your immune system and above all, trust in Allah,” added the actor.
Before testing positive, Neelam was shooting for her upcoming drama, Qayamat alongside Ahsan Khan.
Meanwhile, across the border several Bollywood celebrities including Kriti Sanon, Varun Dhawan and Neetu Kapoor have tested positive for the virus.
