The Sadak 2 trailer starring Alia Bhatt, Aditya Roy Kapur, Sanjay Dutt, and Pooja Bhatt release yesterday. It has not been a smooth ride for it though. After being the most disliked video on YouTube, now a Pakistani musician Shezan Saleem has claimed that a song from the trailer is his composition. The music composer has pointed this out in a tweet and addressed the Fox Star Studios. Below is what he has to say.
Shezaan Saleem also known by the name Jo-G, has claimed that the song that plays in the Sadak 2 trailer sounds like his 2011 composition Rabba Ho. He shared a video in which he shows the similarities by playing both the tracks.
“What do we do about this. Copied from a song that I produced in Pakistan and launched in 2011. Let’s talk guys,” Shezaan Saleem wrote in the caption for his video after the Sadak 2 trailer released.

In the video, he can be heard saying, “A trailer for a Bollywood movie called Sadak 2 has just been released, and there is a song in it called Ishq Kamaal. After listening to it, I realised that it sounds like a composition I had produced for a friend around 11 years ago. The friend’s name is Zaid Khan. I think they’ve copied it because not only the melody, but the music is also very similar.”
In other news, the trailer of the Mahesh Bhatt directorial Sadak 2 has become the most disliked video on YouTube. It has received 4.5 million dislikes in less than 24 hours. The film is set to release on August 28 on Disney Plus Hotstar.
