Amit Sadh has attained newfound stardom after the success of Amazon Prime’s Breathe and now Breathe: Into The Shadows. But not many might now, that the Gold actor made his acting debut on TV with the teenage drama series Kyun Hota Hai Pyarrr. He also was a part of India’s most loved reality show, Bigg Boss 13.
However, Amit Sadh soon moved to the films and eventually made his foray into the digital world as well. While favouritism and nepotism are a hot topic in Bollywood, looks like the Telly Town is no different. And looks like Sadh has first has experienced these traits.
Speaking to Bollywood Hungama, Amit Sadh has revealed that he moved to Bollywood only because he was banned by the Indian Television industry. Yes, you read that! The Kai Po Che actor said, “I did not leave television to go to the movies. In television, they banned me. They called each other and said, ‘Isko kaam mat do (Don’t give him work).’ Toh phir maine kaha, ‘Achcha? Nahi de rahe ho? Toh phir main picturon mein jaaunga (Then I said, ‘Oh? You won’t give me work here? Then I will do films)’.”

While this seems to be the first time that Amit Sadh is making these revelations on record, he said that he is longer angry about these things. He further said, “I had a big producer, a very big TV producer, who called me and said ‘tumhaare baare mein bohot suna hai. Tum aisa karte ho waisa karte ho. Tum actor bohot ache ho lekin…’. Maine usko bhi bol diya, ‘Sir, galat karoge, ladunga (I told him as well, ‘If you do something wrong, I will fight)’.”
Well, now that certainly is a very shocking confession that Amit Sadh has made. However, the actor seems to have grown from all these things and is in a very happy space now. He was last seen in Amazon Prime Video’s Breathe 2 alongside Abhishek Bachchan and Nithya Menen in pivotal roles.
