After being stranded in Thailand for two weeks, followed by a long journey back home, Sanam Saeed took to social media to share with her fans that she is back home and safe. The actor, in a video message, thanked everyone for their support, advise and help, adding that she felt so happy to be home.

Sanam further said that her “real lockdown at home with all the house chores starts now” and joked “Ab ghar akay being stranded felt like a vacation looking back.”
Sanam, who was shooting for her upcoming film Ishrat Made in China with Mohib Mirza, Shamoon Abbasi and Sara Loren in Thailand got stuck there after Pakistan went into lockdown and international flights were suspended. After a long wait, the fifteen-member cast and crew of the film returned to Pakistan on a special flight arranged by the Government of Pakistan. Upon their arrival in the country they were quarantined in a hotel in Islamabad where they were tested for the virus.

After their tests returned negative, they were allowed to travel back to their respective cities.

Meanwhile, Shamoon Abbasi who was also with Sanam on this journey has taken an initiative to help those stranded abroad and facilitate them in the process.
